Mission
Stemming from CEA and MIT research on vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VACNT), NAWAH is today the world leader of this revolutionary material, key to the energy transition and many other applications.
With up to 100 billion carbon nanotubes per square centimeter all vertically aligned and as conductive as aluminum, VACNTs are the ultimate form of carbon.
Used for their mechanical properties, VACNT can be integrated into composite parts to make them unbreakable or lighter.
Used for their electrical properties and combined with catalysts, they can form electrodes and for example be used in fuel cells to increase their performance or reduce the quantity of platinum required.
NAWAH today designs, manufactures, and sells products for the composite and hydrogen markets from its facilities in Rousset (France) and Dayton (USA).
